The serrated texture on the sides provide enough traction to confidently load and unload the magazine, even with a cold wet hand, and provides greater control when guiding into the mag-well. Made from precision machined, high-grade billet aluminum, the Velocity base pad is plenty strong enough for the most demanding user and can withstand hitting the concrete over and over again.
